نام انشتین در جهان به مثابه ی هوش فراوان و استعداد و نبوغ است. درست است که همه ی ما فیزیکدان نیستیم اما می توانیم از شیوه ی زندگی اش برای رسیدن به موفقیت درس های بسیاری بگیریم.
۱)از مواجهه با ترس ها نترس!
او حتی در نوجوانی از به چالش کشیدن نظرات و عقاید اطرافیانش ابایی نداشت. از روش تدریس رایج در مدارس آن زمان راضی نبود. او در یادگیری به تفکر انتقادی در برابر حفظ بی چون و چرای مطالب کتاب ها معتقد بود. اگر قرار بود هر بار که کسی کارهایش را به باد انتقاد می گرفت عقب نشینی کند و دست از تلاش بکشد هیچ وقت به موفقیت نمی رسید. برخی از نظریه های او به سرعت و سهولت در مجامع علمی پذیرفته نشد اما او از پا ننشست، ادامه داد و سرانجام توانست نگاه بشریت را به جهان هستی دگرش بخشد.
۲)زیاد جدی نگیر!
زمانی که انشتین در آمریکا به شهرت رسید اغلب مردم او را در خیابان می شناختند و درباره ی نظریه هایش او را سؤال پیچ می کردند. ولی او با لطافت طبع خاص خودش می خندید و می گفت همه من را با پروفسور انشتین اشتباه می گیرند. با توجه به نوع کاری که انجام می داد(فعالیت عمیق فکری) هیچ کس انتظار شخصیتی شوخ در کسی که با نظریاتش جهان را به لرزه درآورد ندارد. اما تلاش برای نیل به پیروزی کاری نیست که جدیتی همیشگی بطلبد. اندکی شوخ طبعی و شادی در دراز مدت ضامن سلامتی است. اگر انشتین در تمام مدت کار و فعالیتش جدی و عبوس بود، با کاری که او انجام می داد و مباحث عمیقی که درگیرش شده بود مطمئناً به عرصه جنون می رسید.
۳)گاهی فقط تظاهر کن که مشغول فعالیتی!
مانند بقیه افراد انشتین هم گاهی حس و حوصله کار نداشت او هم به مرخصی می رفت. اما موفقیت و حجم عظیم یافته های او نشان می دهد که علی رغم آن که گاهی از کار دست می کشید اما هیچ گاه مسیرش را گم نکرد و دست از تلاش نکشید. او به خوبی می دانست که احساسات و عواطف تکیه گاهی مطمئن برای اهداف و آرزوهای بزرگ هستند.
۴)انتقاد پذیر باش!
مثل همه ی بزرگان می دانست که ممکن نیست همه با عقاید و نظراتش موافق باشند و البته لزومی بر جلب موافقتشان نمی دید. اما این بازخوردها را چالش هایی در ادامه ی راهش می انگاشت و سعی می کرد سخت‌تر کار کند تا به آن ها ثابت شود که اشتباه می کنند و او درست می گوید. تلاش برای جلب رضایت و اعتماد منتقدین تنها اتلاف وقت وانرژی است که می توانی از آن برای پیشبرد کارت فارغ از نظرات و عقاید دیگران استفاده کنی.
۵)شکست را سخت در آغوش بگیر!
فیزیک جزء علوم دقیق است اما بعید می دانم هیچ فیزیکدانی در همان ابتدای مواجهه با آن به همه ی ابعادش مسلط شده باشد. انشتین معتقد بود موفقیت یعنی روند یادگیری در گذر زمان! تنها هدف و مأموریت اشتباهات، آموزش نکات کوچک و بزرگ به او بود. اشتباهاتی که با برگشتن و تصحیح آن ها روی تخته سیاه کارگاهش ، راهش را در حرکت دوباره در آن مسیر هموارتر می ساخت. یکی از معظلاتی که همواره ما را عقب نگه می دارد ترس از ارتکاب اشتباه است. در دراز مدت در می یابی که سکوت و سکون به مراتب بدتر و مضرتر از رفتن و اشتباه کردن است. اشتباه در واقع یعنی به پیش رفتن و یادگرفتن آن چه نباید انجام داد.
۶)قدم های کوچک بسوی هدف
اکثر ما موفقیت را قله ای دور از دسترس می بینیم و این گاهی باعث می شود هیچ تمایلی به سعی و تلاش از خود نشان ندهیم. چرا سختی بکشیم وقتی به هر حال این راه طی می شود و به پایان می رسد؟ این تصور از پیروزی اشتباه و مهلک است. انشتین روز و شب تلاش کرد و بر کاستی ها و مسائل علم فیزیک غلبه کرد اما نه یک شبه! هدفی غایی در ذهن داشت و می دانست با هر گامی که به جلو بر می دارد یک قدم به آن چه در ذهنش دارد نزدیکتر می شود. کار کوچکی که در یک زمان محدود انجام می دهی شاید به نظر بزرگ و مهم نرسد اما بدان که در مقیاس بزرگتر حرکتی است کوچک در مسیری طولانی به سوی هدفی بزرگ!
۷)خودخواه نباش!
موفقیت های انشتین موجب حسن شهرت و محبوبیتش در جهان شد. وی بدون هیچ گونه چشمداشت و تمایلی به کسب قدرت یا ثروت موجب پیشرفت و تعالی نوع بشر شد! او خیر و صلاح انسان ها را سرلوحه ی راهش قرار داد و تا رسیدن به آن از پا ننشست.
به خاطر داشته باشیم که ما در این دنیا تنها نیستیم و تنها برای خودمان زندگی نمی کنیم. وقتی سخاوتمندانه، با رویی گشاده و قلبی سبکبار و رها به دیگران خدمت کنیم جهان تبدیل به مکانی بهتر می شود و این امر کمک می کند تا در مسیر زندگی دگرش یابیم و انسان های بهتری شویم.
۸)تنها به ساز خودت برقص!
انشتین از دنباله روی های کوکورانه و بی فکر مردم متنفر بود. اگر به دیگران اجازه بدهی در مورد توانایی‌هایت اظهار نظر کنند باید تنها به رؤیای پیروزی وکامیابی بسنده کنی. آنچه اطرافیان در مورد ما می‌گویند نظراتی است که البته وحی منزل نیستند و در بیشتر موارد باید به آرامی از کنار آن ها گذشت. قدرت اندیشه و اختیار موهبتی بزرگ برای همه ی انسان هاست. دنیا با آن چه امروز می بینیم بسیار تفاوت داشت اگر انشتین تحت تأثیر حرف کسی قرار می گرفت که در کودکی به او گفته بود: به درد هیچ کاری نمی خورد!
۹)همیشه برای یادگیری و پیشرفت حرص و ولع داشته باش!
او خودش را صاحب استعداد خاصی نمی دید تنها تفاوتش این بود که بسیار کنجکاو بود. او سیری ناپذیر بود. هر مقاله و نظریه ای گامی بود به سوی پرسش و پاسخ بعدی! بعدی! بعدی!
همیشه به دنبال تازه ها! همیشه در حال رشد و بالیدن! اگر این صفات را در خودمان نهادینه کنیم به موفقیت نزدیکتر می شویم. سمی ترین تفکر ممکن آن است که فکر کنیم آن چه انجام داده ایم کافی است! احساس کامل بودن را در خودت از بین ببر تا راهت را برای پیشرفت هموار سازی!
۱۰)ادامه بده! از پا ننشین!
در مسیر پیش روی به سوی آمال و آرزوهایت ممکن است با موانع زیادی روبرو شوی. اما این دلیل نمی شود که عقب نشینی کنی و بازی را واگذار کنی! این فقط نشان می دهد که چقدر اراده ات سست و بی جان است! انشتین کسی بود که سعی کرد در زندگی با مسائل و مشکلات کنار بیاید و آن ها را قدم به قدم حل کند.

2- تفاوت بین نبوغ و حماقت در آن است که نبوغ محدودیت هایی دارد.

5- دو چیز نامحدود است، جهان و حماقت بشر! البته درباره ی جهان مطمئن نیستم!
6- افتادن در دام عاشقی احمقانه ترین کاری نیست که بشر انجام می دهد ولی مطمئناً علت این افتادن جاذبه ی زمین نیست.
7- زیباترین تجربه ها ناشناخته ترین آن هاست و این اساسی ترین احساسی است که خاستگاه علم و هنر ناب محسوب می شود.
8- کسی که هرگز اشتباه نکرده کسی است که هرگز تلاش نکرده است.
9- بیشتر از آن چه برای موفق بودن تلاش می کنی برای با ارزش بودن تلاش کن.
